Auto-Reconnect has arrived at PMLP! It allows most customers who have been disconnected for non-payment to automatically be reconnected soon after payment is made. Here are a few tips to keep in mind when trying to take advantage of this feature.
Auto-Reconnect is a convenience and a privilege, not a right. The responsibility to get reconnected is solely in the customer's hands and may not work for a number of account and/or technical reasons. Currently, most residential customers have meters equipped with this ability, most commercial and industrial customers do not.
After confirmation that full payment has been made, it may take up to 15 minutes for power to be restored.
The alternative and unfortunate possibility of the failure of the above is to wait until business hours. The Dispatcher (who is available for emergencies 24/7) has no ability to assist with problems.
If, and only if, online payment is accepted, paid in full, and there is still no power, should the customer call Dispatch again. At this point, we will try to call in a Meter Tech, but there is a possibility one won't be available and you may still have to wait until the next business day.
How to Make an Account & Pay My Bill
Disclaimer: When signing in using a phone number the number must match the one PMLP has on file for the account. Failure to match these numbers will result in the inability for online pay to work. Also, if you failed to provide PMLP with a phone number on your account, this will result in a mismatch. If we do not yet have a valid phone number on file for your account, or you are unable to provide a match when trying to sign in, you will need to contact Customer Service during business hours to get this resolved.
