Pipeline Awareness
PMLP operates an underground natural gas pipeline that runs between Danvers, MA and Peabody, MA, and has developed a Public Awareness Program to provide basic safety information to people living and working in the general vicinity of the pipeline.
THE PMLP Gas Pipeline
The PMLP natural gas pipeline is used to supply natural gas for the clean and efficient production of electricity at the Waters River power plant adjacent to Waters River off Pulaski Street in Peabody. PMLP is the operator and owner of the Waters River plant, a 60-megawatt generating plant that uses both natural gas and oil to produce electricity.

Our brochure, Living and Working Safely Near a Natural Gas Pipelines (PDF), provides readers with important emergency contact numbers, safety information and tips on how to recognize a gas leak and prevent damage when working near the pipeline.
Public Awareness
PMLP contacts people living and working in the general vicinity of its natural gas pipeline annually via direct mailings to provide information about pipeline safety.
